A terrific opportunity has just become available to complete an apprenticeship at the Roman Baths, a multi-award winning visitor attraction and at the world renowned Fashion Museum and Assembly Rooms.
Average 37 hours per week, to be worked on a rota, including some weekends and evenings and one day a week at the City of Bath College.
The position:
Four vacancies exist for Heritage Apprenticeships in Creative and Cultural Venue Operations, within Heritage Services, Bath & North East Somerset Council, starting in September 2018. The apprenticeships are for a period of 12 months. The successful applicants will be based at the Roman Baths and Pump Room and at the Assembly Rooms, Bath, working an average 37 hours a week including time at the City of Bath College.
The qualification:
Successful completion of the apprenticeship results in the award of a NVQ Level 2 in Creative and Cultural Venue Operations.
The content:
Apprentices will work with teams engaged in front line public facing services such as visitor services and retail. They will also work with support teams including security and operations. Sometime will also be spent working in event preparation with curatorial staff.
Requirements:
Ideally GSCE Maths, English and ICT at grade A-C, however, there are no formal requirements for applicants for Level 2 apprenticeships.
