Varied role with our projects team, you’ll be contributing to the successful delivery of a varied and interesting portfolio of projects.
We are looking for a well-organised Technical Support and Projects Officer who will provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to the team in project activities including finance, procurement, public consultation, communication, health and safety and construction.
We are committed to providing high quality, accessible and welcoming public parks and green spaces for everyone to enjoy. We know that our parks play an important role in improving physical and mental wellbeing and contributing positively to tackling the climate and ecological emergencies.
The Parks and Green Spaces department has a £multi-million capital programme to deliver green space improvements across the district, funded primarily from developer contributions (Section 106) and community infrastructure levy (CIL). The projects are varied and include access improvements, wildlife enhancements, and facilities for play, sport and games.
