The Heritage Services department is responsible for some of the leading cultural arts and heritage sites including the Roman Baths, the Fashion Museum, and Victoria Art Gallery. Based at the Pump Room, Stall Street, Bath, we are seeking an enthusiastic support officer to join our commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an award-winning team, providing administrative support to the Commercial manager, Retail Services, Fundraising, Marketing, Systems and Venue teams in a busy, enjoyable historical environment.
Duties include managing the Councils Residents Discovery Card scheme, organising team and service events, making travel and meeting arrangements including taking minutes, and conducting commercial team research projects.
The hours of work are 24 per week Monday - Friday but days and times can be flexible.
Applicants must have a good general standard of education and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills. Proven communication skills are essential, as well as a professional and friendly manner and high standard of personal presentation.
Experience of working in an administrative position or equivalent, as well as an interest in marketing, would be desirable.
