We have vacancies at the Roman Baths for 3 seasonal Museum Porters to join our Front of House team, to help make happy memories for all our visitors and create a 5* experience. This is an ideal opportunity to join a friendly team working in a busy but enjoyable environment, in a major visitor attraction and heritage site.
Main duties include collecting audio guides at the end of the visit, carrying the bags of audio guides up the stairs and returning them to the recharging racks in the reception hall, as well as helping visitors with queries and directions during their visit.
The hours of work are 5 days out of 7 on a rolling rota, including 3 weekends out of 4. Shifts are for 6 hours per day. Contracts are from 1st March 2019 until 31st October 2019, as well as casual work throughout the year.
Applicants must have a friendly manner and good customer care and communication skills. The ability to speak a foreign language would be an advantage. Full training and a uniform will be provided.
