Based at the Pump Room/Roman Baths in central Bath, we have a permanent part-time post to support the Head of Heritage Services and the Heritage Services Management and Business Teams.
Heritage Services operates as a business unit within the Council. It delivers a surplus of GBP 8.8 million p.a. to the Council and engages with 1.5 million services users each year.
You will provide administrative and research support to the Head of Heritage Services and the Heritage Services Management and Business Teams, in support of business development and service delivery priorities. You will act as Office Manager for the Pump Room offices and Health & Wellbeing Champion for the Service.
You will have experience of management support at middle to senior level and be fully IT literate with strong word processing skills. You will have excellent inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills and be able to prioritise, work under pressure and keep within deadlines. Good investigative, reporting and finishing skills are essential. You will also play a role in supporting the Roman Baths Foundation development trust, for which experience of work in the charity sector is highly desirable.
