We are recruiting for a highly experienced Project Manager to deliver the Bath River Line project. The project involves working across several B&NES departments and with external partners, including the Canal and River Trust, Bath Spa University, National Trust. WECA and Environment Agency.
We have secured significant funding to deliver the Bath River Line project, a strategic urban Green Infrastructure project to create a linear park and greenway from east to west Bath. The project will deliver an upgraded walking and cycling route, improved green spaces and public realm, and enhanced biodiversity along the river corridor.
The post holder will have overall responsibility for delivering the Bath River Line project, including project management, budgeting, reporting to WECA, writing reports for B&NES senior managers and members, project communications, and community engagement.
The post holder will have proven ability in delivering complex projects, design development, funding bids, managing consultants, and overseeing events using expertise, initiative and judgement. It is expected that you will possess proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills including writing and editing skills, the ability to ensure milestones and deliverables are set and achieved to time and to a high quality.
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated person with experience of green infrastructure, sustainable transport, urban or landscape design, community engagement, and an interest in the natural environment and its links to health and well-being.
