The Pump Room & Roman Baths is one of the UK’s most important and impressive heritage sites that is visited by over 1 million people each year.
The Operations Team perform an essential role in preparing the site before it opens to the public, keeping it safe and running smoothly during the day, and setting up for functions in the evening. This role involves a wide range of duties that include general cleaning and washroom replenishment, security, patrolling and porterage duties.
The hours are 37 per week and the 7.4 hour per day shifts are currently undertaken between 07:00 and 22:00 and will including working weekends as per the rota.
Applicants must be well presented and confident when working in a busy public environment. The ability to carry out work involving manual handling is essential and training in this and other key tasks is provided.
