Hours: ZeroContract: Fixed term for 12 monthsLocation: Remote working
Do you have a few hours to help North Somerset in its ongoing fight to keep coronavirus case rates low?
We are looking for experienced call handlers to work on a flexible zero hours basis as part of our Public Health’s Contact Tracing Team.
The role would ideally suit someone looking for a way to play their part in beating the pandemic who has experience in a contact centre, but full training will be given. A confident phone manner and flexible attitude to your working hours are the most essential things you can bring to the position.
The shifts are between 10am and 7pm seven days a week, the number of hours and times that you will be required to work will be dependent on case numbers. You will be part of a small team calling people who have been in contact with someone who has had a positive Covid-19 test result and giving information and advice to help them self-isolate.
You will need to be comfortable handling difficult calls in a sensitive manner and knowing when to escalate cases to senior colleagues.
If you have the skills we need to help us in our fight against coronavirus in North Somerset apply now as we will close to applications when we have enough candidates.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
For an informal discussion, please contact Sam Cross, Covid-19 Manager on 07717 440 786.
Anticipated interview date: To be confirmed
